Stress of Being a Student

by Abby

The stress of being a student is very frustrating. Everybody gets stressed once and a while but I think students have the most stress. Stress really sucks because it makes you have wrinkles on your face when you get older, which nobody wants. When you get stressed, when you’re a student, it’s mostly because they have a whole bunch of school work and sometimes sports. They have a whole bunch of stuff to do and they don’t have enough time. Almost everything causes stress for a student. It gets frustrating at a lot of times because you want to do one thing but you need to do the other and your parents want you to do your chores, and on and on. It’s very hard being student especially sometimes if you switch schools and you’re nervous about meeting new people and new teachers. It is also hard when you go from 5th grade to 6th grade because a lot of stuff changes for you. Being a student is very stressful.

Ways that you can help to lower or stop stress is you can cut down on all of the sports and put your priorities first. Like home work and chores first, and then play sports and be with your friends. Being stressed out isn’t good for you or your body. You can stop being stressed by having more fun at school but not getting in trouble at the same time. You can still live your life and have fun but without so much stress. Also you can laugh more and that will help.
