Little Manhattan is a great movie for people of all ages. Gabe an eleven year old finds love in the city with a girl named Rosemary Telesco. It changes his life. It is the perfect love story for anyone.

Gabe is a kid that hates girls. He thinks they have the cooties and if you touch them you’ll get bad luck. There is an imaginary line between the girls and the boys. Girls are on one side and boys are on the other. Gabe falls in love with Rosemary and it changes his life forever. They become karate partners and then they become great friends. It changes his life forever.

I liked the movie Little Manhattan because it has a wonderful setting. It shows you what life in the city is like. I like the parks that came up in the movie because they show you that the city really is beautiful. The characters have a great personality. Rosemary has a great sense of humor and I think that is what makes Gabe so attracted to her.

I did not like the part when he tells Rosemary that he hates her. I do not like that part because he sees a lot of things that are not realistic. I also do not like the part when she beats him at karate. That part is one of the things that I don’t like. Gabe should be showing her how to be better at karate. Not her teaching him how to get better at Karate.

Little Manhattan is a movie that you and your family can enjoy. So get a DVD and start watching this wonderful movie.

The name of this movie is Little Manhattan. Its about Rosemary (Charlie Ray) and Gabe (Josh Hutcherson). It’s a double love story.


Rosemary has been in Gabe`s class since kindergarten. The get separated by the girls on one side and boys on the other. Till one day Rosemary joins Gabe in karate class and becomes his sparing partner.

I like this movie because it’s cute. The part I like is when Gabe hurts his hand in class. I like how they show places around New York I really want to go there so that was cool to see those places.


The thing I didn’t like was that she has to leave to camp. He should have had to follow her there and talk everything out there. To me nothing else was wrong or bad. Or else the movie was good to me.

Gabe thought girls had cooties. But in fifth grade they went to karate class and they were partners. The setting is New York City.

This is a little about in the movie. Gabe wanted to conquer Rosemary. But rosemary never payed attention to him. Sometimes Gabe got jealous because in karate they weren’t partners anymore. They secretly liked each other but didn’t tell each other.

I like the movie because it has little bit of everything. And because it’s funny how Gabe cries. And because the movie wasn’t just for kids and it wasn’t just for adults. And they always got mad each other but they didn’t stay mad for long. When they hold hands they always sweated.

It’s hard to say why I didn’t like the movie. But I didn’t like the end wasn’t very cute. And boys think girls had cooties. And they didn’t like girls to touch them. That’s the things I didn’t liked.

I really liked the movie Little Manhattan because it has comedy and romance. And I like comedy although I don’t really like romance. I also like it because anybody could watch it. I also liked that they went everywhere together. I also like the setting it’s really nice.

What I didn’t like about the movie is that boys thought girls had cooties. They thought that when a girl touched them they would get bad luck. And I didn’t really like the ending. That’s really all I did’t like about the movie.

I liked many things about Little Manhattan but my favorite thing about this movie is that it can be for kid, teens, and adults. It also shows a lot of adventures between Gabe and Rosemary. And I like how this kids can be out in a big city as New York. Even though it had to be as far there parents said. Even though Gade and Rosemary get in trouble because of there adventures.

I liked how it was comedy and romance. And the show that Rosemary, Rosemary parents, and Gabe went to. I also liked how Gabe and his friend get around there home. It was nice that even though Rosemary did not get to see her dad and mom a lot they both made up for it. But I like Little Manhattan a lot.

Little Manhattan is a story about a boy named Gabe. He is 11 just like his karate partner Rosemary. Once he meets his karate partner he feels loves strike him in the heart. Gabe ends up getting Rosemary as his sparring partner. After their first karate class Gabe and Rosemary are already practicing together and going to parties together. They also go see the best singer in New York with Rosemary’s parents.


I really like the movie, but my favorite part was when Gabe kisses Rosemary on the lips! I like that part because it is funny and romantic. The reason why I like is I love watching movie scenes that will make you laugh. I also love this scene because it is one of the funniest parts of the movie. This is my favorite part of the movie.


I think the worst part of the movie was when Gabe and Rosemary told each other they hated each other. I didn’t like that part because it was kind of sad. It is sad because you think they’re going to fall in love. It is sad because you think they will stay together for the summer. When they yell at each other over the phone the expression on their faces are shocking. I think that is the worst part of the movie.

They have known each other since kindergarten and became closer in the sixth grade. They take karate classes together. Then she helped him get better. He bought her an ice cream at the park. They went looking for apartments together for his dad. They wondered the city a lot.

I like the karate stuff. Also it was a good movie. It was okay for a chick flick. They were also good actors.

I didn’t like that they fell in love right away. Also that they were in the same city. One other thing was that she could beat him up.

This is a movie review for the romantic 2005 kids and adult movie “Little Manhattan.” This movie is probably one of many movies that is a romance movies made for kids as well for adults. I highly recommend this movie to teens and pre-teens.

This is a movie about a 11year old kid named Gabe (Josh Hutcherson)found his first love Rosemary Telesco (Charlie Ray) his friend since Kindergarten until when 2nd grade came when there was an invisible curtain in between boys and girls (boys rule and girls have cooties.) Also he finds out how true love can’t last for ever when a kid comes and ruins their love. While his parents fix their mistakes in the past and start to love each other again.

I liked this movie because it showed that people can love each other at young ages. Also I like romance and I’m a comedy guy. What also made this movie interesting to me is that my dad was born in New York.

What I didn’t like about this movie is that some parts weren’t necessary. Like the story about the sheep herder. I don’t think that was necessary because it took a little but during that time there could’ve been some action or kissing.

Gabe is a kid that hated girls since second grade that is until he meets Rosemary Telesco once again. He believed in cooties and when he met her in Karate class. This is a movie whose setting is in New York City and they advertise many things like ice-cream, the theater and a lot more things like Central Park! This is a funny, hilarious, and sweet, love movie and you will love it!

One thing I like about the movie is that they know karate and they beat the mean bully at the park. I like that part because it was so cool how they did karate and beat him. Also when they beat him he looked really mad and he looked funny and so that made me start to laugh! It was good that they got away from him or else they would of probably would have had started a fight. That scene is just so funny!!!

A scene that I don’t like would probably be when Gabe told Rosemary that he hated her. It was so mean for Gabe to do that because it hurt Rosemary and maybe hurt him for saying it. I don’t like that scene because it was so mean and cruel, in my opinion. Also it probably made other people think the same too. This is the scene that was probably the saddest in the whole movie!

Gabe and Rosemary are friends in Kindergarten but then, “girls have cooties” in second grade then they are separated by an invisible wall. Both Gabe and Rosemary are in the same Karate class. Then Gabe falls in love with rosemary. They spend a lot of time together and then they have their first kiss. They get mad at each other, and then, Gabe goes to the wedding where Rosemary is the flower girl and tells her he loves her.


What I liked about the movie is that they had New York advertisements. For if you want to go to New York you can know some places to go to. Another thing I liked was that it’s an adult movie and a kid movie. So anybody can watch it. Those are some things I liked.


What I didn’t like about the movie was that they showed what Gabe was thinking. It made it confusing to know when he was talking and when he wasn’t talking. Another thing I didn’t like was that the Karate man appeared when Gabe thought about kissing Rosemary. That’s what I didn’t like about the movie.


Anyway I thought it was a great movie for adults and kids.

The movie little Manhattan is the best movie I have seen in a long time. In New York City a small 11 year old boy had a normal life until rosemary telesco joined his karate class. After that his life is turned up side down as he trys to get the girl of his dreams. I would grade this as an a minus movie.

Gabe’s parents are at war with labels and his dad sleeps on the couch. But his life is good until rosemary enters his life. Then the movie gets interesting as he falls in love. In first grade they were friends but when she joins his karate class he gets his life turned up side down. As they fall in love his parents come back together.


I liked the movie because of the plot it was interesting. The plot was good because there was the parents too making the movie good for all ages also they made it funny.

The only problem with the movie is they advertise New York with t shirts. The other problem is I don’t like the way the movie ends. At the end of the movie they break up. The movie though is a advertisement for new York. But overall it is a good movie.

This movie is heartwarming and funny. “Little Manhattan” is for anyone in the family who likes romance and comedy at the same time. Living in Manhattan was fine until Gabe gets Rosemary as his karate partner.

Gabe is just any other 11 year old kid that thinks girls have cooties and boys rule. That is until he gets Rosemary as a karate partner. Rosemary has been in Gabe’s class since kindergarten, but once they get to 2nd grade a metal sheet comes down between the boys and girls. Gabe’s parents are on the verge of getting divorced and his life has been pretty good; but then that one day when he gets Rosemary as his karate partner his life changes forever. This movie takes you on a journey that mostly everyone takes when they are preteens.

“Little Manhattan” has a lot of things that I liked. I liked I liked the way it told a story that everyone goes through. I the way it told a story that everyone goes through. Everyone has a first love and most of the time it doesn’t work out; and sadly in this movie it doesn’t either. Rosemary and Gabe have been friends for a long time too though, so it might have been awkward. They did have good times together, and that’s something I really liked about it.

There is not one thing I didn’t like in this movie. They had enough dialogue and that’s something I really like. When there isn’t enough dialogue the movie kind of drags on. Every movie should have a lot of dialogue. This was one of the best movies I have seen.

This movie Little Manhattan is the movie I’m writing about. There are two 10 year old love birds, Rosemary and Gabe. They both live in New York.

Rosemary and Gabe knew each other since kindergarten. Now Gabe and Rosemary are in fifth grade. Guys and girls could play together until second grade… when the invisible walls came down. Guys thought girls had cuddies and after that everything was different.

There were a whole lot of parts I liked in Little Manhattan. I liked the part when Rosemary and Gabe used their karate skills on the bully and pushed down his bike. The other part I thought was funny is when Rosemary’s family and Gabe listened to this guy sing and something romantic happened. My favorite part was when Rosemary and Gabe kissed.

I didn’t like that much parts in the movie. I partly hated the sad part when Rosemary and Gabe had the huge I hate you part. I also hated the part when Gabe started cussing a little.

There were a lot of parts I liked about the movie. I liked this movie because it has a lot of comedy and romance. I think the Gabe needs a lot of tips on romance. Other than that the movie was really good. The setting and background was good too.

I didn’t really so much of the advertisements. It could have gone with less. I also didn’t like the part with the big argument. He was just sad because she was going to camp. He didn’t really hate her. Not that much that I didn’t really like.

Little Manhattan is a cute story about a boy named Gabe. He is 11 just like his karate partner Rosemary. Once he meets his karate partner its like love at first sight for him. They have lots of fun and scary experiences together, but is too scared to say he has a huge crush on Rosemary.

I really like the movie, but what I love most about it is when they have a fun experience to go in an underground subway. Just to find an apartment for Gabe’s dad. The reason why I like that is, because they go on the other side of town to the apartment , and once he gets home he is in a load of trouble.

To my opinion the worst part in the movie was when Rosemary calls Gabe, and Gabe is excited, but some how he says he hates Rosemary and she says it back. They both hang up and Gabe cries for while. And I think that part is sad because they make such good friends.

This is a movie review of the 2005 thriller “Little Manhattan”. “Little Manhattan” is one of the only romance films I would dare to watch, and I was glad I did. If you think it’s a chick flick your wrong.

This is a movie where an 11 year old tween named Gabe found the love of his life Rosemary Telesco. They were friends in kindergarten until the invisible wall between boys and girls went down in first grade and when koodies arrived. They did meet up in Karate class when they were paired for sprawling partners after that it was love at first kick or a weird feeling in Gabe’s Stomach. Even though his home was battle of the refrigerators with names on everything because of his parents break up but he’s used to his dad on the couch and a date for his mom. He starts to hang out with Rosemary but he doesn’t know if it’s good or bad because it’s first love.

I loved this movie even though I can’t stand romance I’m a comedy kind of guy. I also loved how they showed the real New York not the one that most people as it being really crowded. Finally I loved the animation in the building when they turned into ships it looked so real.

Really the only thing I didn’t like was Romance because it’s always so mushy a gushy Hearty farty.

Little Manhattan is a romantic comedy for both kids and adults. Josh Hutcherson does a very good job playing love struck Gabe. Charlie Ray does awesome on her first movie.

There are two stories in this movie. One is about Gabe and Rosemary. Where Gabe falls in love with rosemary and everything seems to go good until the aftermath of the first kiss. The other is about Gabes parents fading love while Gabe has a growing love fore Rosemary.

I liked this movie because it is fit for both adults and kids. It shows the bitterness of love. Also has another story blending in with the movie. It also shows cool pictures of central park. It also shows more sweet views.

It is hard to say what I didn’t like about this movie. To cut to the chase. TOO MANY LOGOS. Period. That’s y I got bored. This is to the director lay up the logos!

This is my movie review. My review is on the movie little Manhattan.
The movie little Manhattan is about two 11-year old tweens named Gabe and Rosemary who fall in love.

In the movie little Manhattan a tween named Gabe falls in love with Rosemary a girl he’s been friends with from kindergarten to either first or third grade. Then Gabe joins a karate class that Rosemary is in. But in the end Gabe and Rosemary split and Gabe’s parents get back together and Gabe breaks his wrist.

My favorite part of the movie is when a little black kid in Pre School gets poked by a girl and thinks he’s going to die from cooties witch is ridiculous. Another part I liked is where Gabe falls over. Also I liked the part where Gabe over reacted and made a big scene when he broke his wrist when he took his yellow belt exam. One more thing I like about the movie little Manhattan is that when Gabe’s mom and dad want to split up they put they’re name on anything that is their own in the refrigerator and I don’t know why I like that.

But what I didn’t like about the movie is you can see what Gabe’s thinking and sometimes things get pretty weird when that happens. Another thing I didn’t like about the movie are the things you hear when Gabes thinking because sometimes it can be pretty ridiculous. One more thing I don’t like is Gabe’s dream because that part in my opinion is stupid. So there are things in that movie that aren’t as good as others. That’s every thing about the movie that I don’t like.

Little Manhattan is a cute little story about a 11year old boy who has his first love Rosemary Telescoe. But when theirs a little bump in the road will they make it through?

11 year old Gabe is a normal 11year old boy in the world of “eww! Girls have cooties” that is until he started taking karate class and had the 3rd prettiest girl as his sparing partner. But after awhile he notices he like likes her. But when they’re love is tested something’s are said that they never meant. And when Gabe’s parents love story is coming true, his love story is falling apart. But what is a kid to do in a world with a broken heart, besides cry. His life is not the way he wanted but he pulls through.

Well the first thing I liked is that it’s not some phony love story from Hollywood that makes girls wanna cry themselves. No it shows that even in the youngest of loves, it goes through it’s hardships. The second is that it show New York isn’t all bad. Because it shows that Manhattan isn’t some run down trash whole like Hollywood want us to believe. They think that if we new what it really is like then we wouldn’t like Hollywood, or LA, or Malibu anymore so they try to shield us from the real world.

But there are some other things I didn’t really like, like all they advertisement. Ok we get it New York has a lot of cool stuff. Another is that it didn’t show any flaws of Manhattan. To me that’s just unrealistic that’s what makes a town little flaws give life an edge but in “Little Manhattan” they didn’t show anything but the love of Gabe and Rosemary, and the love of Adam and Leslie.

So in conclusion this movie is both realistic and unrealistic. And in a scale from 1-10 I would defiantly give it an 8.9. And I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This feature film is about two close friends who fall in love. They have known each other since kindergarten but there has always been a metal curtain between the girls and boys.

Gabe and Rosemary have been close friends since kindergarten but there is a metal wall between the girls and boys. Boys are afraid of the girls because they have “cooties”. But when Gabe decides to take karate that all changes for the two of them. From then on they spend all their time together.

I liked the movie because it is no only for adults or for kids it’s for both. I also loved how even though they were young they still loved each other. I also liked the settings how they were able to roam with out getting hurt. It was nice how they could get mad at each other and make up.

In the movie I didn’t like how the elevator man treated the lady. Also I didn’t like how Gabe’s dad pushed him. I thought that he should be able to do what he wanted.

Rosemary and Gabe have been friends since kindergarten. Gabe decides to take karate lessons, Gabe and Rosemary are partners in karate. They spend a lot of time together. While Gabe and Rosemary are in a fight Gabe’s parents start to fall in love again. Everyone is happy in the end including Gabe and Rosemary.

I like that the movie wasn’t just for kids and wasn’t just for adults. The movie is for every one. I also liked all the spots in New York they chose to film. They chose pretty areas like in Central Park.

I didn’t like that they advertised so much things. They always wore a shirt that advertised something. I also didn’t like that Gabe got mad at Rosemary and told her he hated her. After all I really like the movie.

Little Manhattan is a movie about a 11 year old boy named Gabe who lives in Manhattan and has regular guy friends and plays sports and has fun. He’s at the stage where in his class the girls and the boys are totally separated and everyone is obsessed with “cooties.” He believed in that stuff until a girl named Rosemary (the third cutest girl in his class to him) came into his love life and changed him forever.

Gabe’s parents are divorced and they are living together in the same apartment. Gabe doesn’t like his parents being divorced but he lives with it and thinks his life is pretty good. He loves playing sports with his friends and his dad. After a while he decides to join a karate class. Then he sees his kindergarten-2nd grade friend come into the class too, Rosemary Telesco. Unfortunately Rosemary becomes his sparring partner. He begins to fall in love with her and starts to ask her to meet at his or her house to practice karate. She starts to hang out with him to and he thinks she’s falling for him also. Then she breaks his heart and his life is changed forever.

What I liked about the movie was how funny it was. I think it was hilarious how Gabe becomes so clumsy around Rosemary and he falls or runs into walls. Seeing the story from a guy’s perspective was kind of weird but not very much different from a girl’s. Except that a girl doesn’t go off and cry when something bad happens. I still enjoy seeing stuff from a girl’s perspective. THAT’S WHY I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES SO MUCH!!!

There wasn’t much that I didn’t really like about the movie. Well it would’ve been better if the movie was longer so I could see how Gabe goes on with his life without Rosemary. So I could say I didn’t like how “short” the movie was. Also how the parents came back together, I would’ve liked to see like 20 years in the future that Rosemary and Gabe married each other and everything.

Over all the movie to me was a cute love story and very funny. I liked it but it could’ve been longer. It’s a nice movie.

Jonas Brothers Concert!

On February 1st 2008 my BFF Cassidy and I went to awesome JONAS BROTHER concert in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood. We left Lone Pine on January 30, 2008 with Cassidy’s family and I. It was so hard to sleep in the truck, because of all the noises of the cars passing by. We were so tired when we got to the house in Vegas. It was about 9:00 P.M. When we got home we all wanted to sleep, but first we went to go eat at Sonic. Cassidy and I got a slushy and tatter tots and a salad to share. Once we got home we ate in front of the T.V. and went to sleep on the floor with sleeping bags that were so warm.

Once it was the next day we woke up earlier than the parents and watch some music videos on T.V. and than ate some yummy cereal. We got dressed up and decided to go to the mall. I had about 40 dollars to go to the mall. We went to claries and I got some jewelry and other stuff. Then Cassidy’s mom got her a cute shirt for the Concert. Also Mattie is Cassidy’s little sister and she also got a really cute top for the concert. After Cass tired to find a nice pair of shoes for the concert too. I already had my outfit for the concert. So then we went to go eat Chinese at the food court at the mall. Once we were done we went home and played at the house. It was now time to eat so we went to the Dairy Queen and got hamburgers. Once that day was over we could not go to sleep, because the next it was going to be the concert. We still tired our best though.

Once again it was the next day the day of the concert we screamed our heads off the whole morning, and it woke up the parents. They were mad but they knew it was the day of the concert. We got our clothes went in the shower took our shampoo and got dressed. We were all wearing mini skirts and cute tops. Once that was done we got our hair straitened and had all the same hairdos. After that we were ready to leave early so we wouldn’t have to go through the big line. But we still had to eat first so we ate really fast. Then we could finally go for sure. We got there at about 6:30 P.M. and the concert started at 8 o-clocks. Before the concert we got to the Jonas Brothers store and we all got something with our money. Now once we got in the concert stadium it was 7:30 and we got huge pretzels to eat yummy. They were good but way too salty. Once the concert opened up it was awesome we thought it was so spectacular, with the pyrotechnics that bursted in the air. All different colors were on the stage like smoke that was red, blue, green, and a lot of different colors. Cassidy and I screamed through the whole concert. Once it was the next day we could barley speak. We went home that next day.

Lakers Timber Wolves and Magic Mountain

I’ve been to a lot of sporting and special events, but the one that comes to mind is my last Lakers game and trip to Magic Mountain.

I love the Lakers and one day around Christmas my grandpa called me to say he had invited me to a Lakers’ game on January 28 2009 in Staples Center!!!! Whoohoo! He also told me he had invited all of my brothers my dad and my uncle.

So we went down to Santa Paula the twenty-sixth of January because that’s where my Grandma and Grandpa live, and on the way up there my Brother Joseph called me to invite me to Magic mountain with two of his friends from the peace core Wow! First I got invited to the Lakers game then Magic Mountain could this trip get any better. I didn’t think so.

We finally got to my Aunt Vanessa’s. I played with my older cousin Larissa for almost the rest of the day besides dinner. Then I slept in my aunt’s guest room.

The next day I woke up around 7:00 I was as tired as a dog when he got done playing. I was tired until around 7:30 when I got a call from my brother right when I looked at the caller ID I was happier than when a cat gets some fish sticks. I answered it and he said he’d pick me up in 5 minutes.

I heard a knock on the door and sure enough it was my brother Joseph. I ran outside he introduced his friends to me and we went to Magic Mountain.

Here we were coming up into the parking lot we parked and I opened the door and ran towards the entrance my brother paid gave the guy the money with two buy one get one free coupons. We went inside the park seeing less than six people in was empty there were no lines. This trip did get better. They recommended that we went on revolution first so we did followed by Ninja (easy smooth ride) and X2 (S.C.A.R.Y Super Crazy Amazing Rough and Yelling). So we went on a lot of the rides most of them gave me butterflies and we finally left.

The next day was the day of the Lakers’ game! I was ready to go. I got everything I needed clothes and a pair of binoculars to see the Lakers’ Girls according to my Grandpa. It was a long drive from Santa Paula to L.A. we took two cars one for me and my brothers the other for everyone else. I slept until we got there. We were here at Staples Center. The first thing we did was get Skyscraper hotdogs they were three feet long! OMG! Then we went inside I was so happy when I saw our seats right below the band.

I’m really here in Staples Center watching the Lakers practice. This is awesome first Magic Mountain now Lakers at Staples Center. Then I see them the Lakers coming out starting to practice and now the Timber wolves. Finally the game is starting; the referee gets the ball it was a toss up between Kobe and some other guy; Kobe Bryant pounds the ball to Odom; and Odom makes the three pointer after that the Lakers were way ahead and continuing through the game.

The Lakers game was awesome they won and every one got free tacos. I went back to my house with a full stomach and a smile.

Beach

The last time I went to a special event was in San Diego, Ocean Beach. There was a contest for artists to see who could build the biggest sand castle that could hold 20 kids on the sandy castle. If you wanted to be one of the kids to go in it you would have to catch a huge fish by yourself in the beautiful salty sea. I caught a huge rock fish that felt pricklier than a splinter deed in your skin. On my way to the counter for the kids I looked at all the sand castles and which one would win and near the counter there was a HUGE sand castle that made my eyes pop out of my head. It was a huge sand castle that could hold about 30 people. I would love to do that, so I hoped that I would win so I could go on it. Sure enough I won and I got to go on every sandiest wettest muddiest sand castles on the beach. I had more fun than a dog chewing on peanut butter while chasing its tail. The last sand castle was the gigantic one I really wanted to go on top of then I was on top it, it was like standing on a mountain the size of Mount Everest.

Yellowstone

The last special event that I went to was when I went to Yellowstone in the summer last year. It was a lot of fun. When you got into the gates of Yellowstone it was great. You could see the animals trotting around all over the place. You could smell the trees and grass. Sometimes you would see horrible things. You could see all of the ashes from the fire that burned down a lot of the park. It was terrible. If you think of it, there is a good side to it too. The fire opened up all of the seed pods in the pine cones. That way, there would be a lot of little trees that grow. There were a lot of animals there too. A lot of them you wouldn’t see if you were just driving. There were bison all over that you would see if you were driving. There was a lot to the park. You could see geysers all over. We went to see Old Faithful and it was really cool. We saw a white wolf, a Bald eagle, bison, a moose, deer, and two grizzly bear.

Wolf Creek Lodge

Going to Wolf Creek Lodge is really, really fun. It is just water rides everywhere and everyone is having fun. We went early in the morning and didn’t leave until it closed. It is a hotel and water park altogether. There is a big pool and every 10 minutes they put in these really big waves that move you all the way from the front to the back. My cousins and I always get into the pool at the very beginning. Sometimes they have just really little waves for the little kids. When the big waves are going to start a wolf howls to let you know. There are two water rides that are really fun. Going on them gets your heart racing and makes you feel like you’re going to fall out of boat. The one that I don’t remember name of isn’t too scary because, you just slide down closed in slides in tubes. The other one called The Howling Tornado is super fast and really gets your heart racing.

Going on The Howling Tornado is fun for everyone. At first when you get on you think to yourself, oh this alright nothing bad is going to happen, but then you get going really fast. You’re going down this enclosed tube and it’s pitch black the whole time. All of a sudden you drop down (but not very far), and then you go into this funnel and there are flashing lights all around you. You go up and down on the walls and you really feel like you are going to fall out. This ride is my most favorite ride of all times. After that you can go to the store there and get a wand. after you get a wand you can go around and play this game where you point your wand at different things and you get points every time. You have a book and it’s your clues. My cousins and I did this the whole time we were there and we had the time of our lives.

Fun At the Pool

Last summer I went to the swimming pool. It was scorching hot and as I ran across the hot road I couldn’t wait to get into the cool but slightly warm pool. When I got into the waiting room the blond and slightly chubby lady offered me a snack witch I declined. Then she asked for three dollars to go in the pool. I gave her the three dollars and ran and dived into the pool. I watched someone do a back flip into the pool. Then I got squashed by two people. Then someone one pulled me under water and the chlorine hurt my eyes and I heard some one splash when they let me back up. I swim to a ladder and shiver because it is cold I laid down in the sun for awhile and walk across the wet concrete and left the pool.

At home I decided that playing video games was more fun than the pool. The rest of the day I chilled and read. I went to the pool again though.

Nefer's Sunny Fair

When I went to the fair last year it was really sunny. I went on some rides with my sisters and some by myself. Some of the ones I wanted to go on were closed. I was walking through the stinky poop smell by animals and then I went by the swings and Magie was there. She had to leave because she had gone on the swings four times and had to throw up! My mom told me to wait outside for her! My mom told me to wait outside for her. It smelled really bad even though I was outside. She took really long.


Since she wasn’t coming out fast I left to get some food. It smelled like carne asada. I got some Chinese food and a strawberry smoothie. Magie’s mom got Chinese food and a smoothie too, while Magie was still in the bathroom. Then my dad came back because he had gone to the rodeo and we left. It was really fun at the fair except I didn’t get to go on rides with Magie.

Jonas Brothers Concert!

On February 1st, 2008 my best friend Lena and I went to Las Vegas to see the JONAS BROTHERS at the Planet Hollywood. Lena, my family, and I left Lone Pine on January 30th, 2008. On the way over to Las Vegas we had to stop at a really dirty rest stop that had water all over the floor. When we got to our house in Las Vegas it was around nine o’clock at night. We walked into our house in Vegas and my sister, Lena, and I fell flat on the floor. My mom said we needed to get up and get back in the truck to get something to eat. Lena and I asked for Sonic and we got some tatter tots and a salad to share and a slushy. Lena couldn’t eat that much because she was so tired.

The next day we went to the mall to get some shoes, tops, pants, caps, hair clips, and jewelry. We went to Limited- Too and bought some rocking JONAS BROTHERS stuff. Then we got our outfits ready for the next day. My dad said that Lena and I were crazy chicks because we love the JONAS BROTHERS! We saw the most adorable puppy and I was ready to take it home with us.

When we woke up the next day we were jumping up and down and screaming. We woke up around 7 o’clock a.m. and my mom was still sleeping. My grandma was getting in the shower. Lena and I ran to our suitcase and grabbed our clothes out and I ran into the master bathroom and Lena ran into the guest bathroom and we both came flying out of the bathrooms zipping our sweatshirts.

That night we went to the JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT! It was six thirty when we got there. After we were seated there was a huge room full of smoke by the time the opening act started singing everybody was coughing. After the opening act sang three of their songs a lot of the girls started chanting JONAS, JONAS, JONAS, JONAS. So the opening act went off stage and started playing so every one thought it was the JONAS BROTHERS. My parents went to one of the food stands and bought six very salty pretzels and some water. After the admission was over the lights started flashing and there were pyrotechnics blowing from the stage, and it was loud so Lena and I looked at each other and started screaming. At the second admission Lena and I grabbed for our water because our throats were really sore. Then the JONAS BROTHERS walked out on the stage and the crowd went wild. And then the JONAS BROTHERS started playing their music, they played SOS, YEAR 3000, KIDS OF THE FUTURE, HOLD ON, STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU, GAMES, AUSTRAILA, GOOD NIGHT AND GOODBYE, HOLLYWOOD, and BURNIG UP, LOVEBUG. By the time the concert was over Lena and I were hungry and thirsty and tired. We kept thanking my parents and grandma. We got home around 1 in the morning and we ate cereal for the millionth time that day. The next the day JONAS BROTHERS left Las Vegas and Lena and I were still thinking it was the night of the concert.

The Last Time I Went To the Tri-County Fair

Last August there was a fair in Bishop. It was a tri county fair. At the tri county fair just like any other fair there was a parking lot, at the end of the parking lot there was a ticket booth with four places to get tickets. When you enter the fair you see a small circus that is not nearly as big as a regular circus with reddish orange and yellow stripes if you turn left you see all the rides to your left you see a ride for little kids that has cars that look like cartoon dragons. You’ll also see a fun house with a maze made of mirrors I always bump in to the walls and once you make it to the top there are some mirrors that make you look weird and the way you get down is a slide. If you look straight ahead you’ll see a ride that goes around in circles at about 20 mph and the cars spin at 10 mph and if you have rollercoaster tycoon it’s called the eye popper. And if you go right a little ways and look left you’ll see a fun house that I didn’t go in to and it’s the kind where you get out using one of those tubes that rotates and most people fall down when they try to get out. If you go forwards a little ways you’ll see a ride that you sit on a chair and you go up into the air and it spins you. Then if you turn left you’ll see the gravitron it’s the type of ride where you jump up and stick to the wall because of how fast you’re going.
If you look to your left you’ll see another fun house shaped like a pirate ship, and if you look straight ahead you’ll see the zipper on which the cars go upside down and they go in a squashed oval shape. If you go backwards a ways and turn right you’ll be at the demolition derby, the cars in the demolition derby are different each year. So if you ever in Bishop in the last week of August go to the tri county fair!

Knott’s Berry Farm

I went to Knott’s Berry Farm on November 5, 2008. My school went for our Star trip that was like a trip to heaven. The kids who do well or get advanced go on this special trip every year. I have gone on this trip for three years now. My first year on one of these trips we went to Sierra Lanes bowling center in Ridgecrest. When we were at the bowling alleys I was sweating like a wild boar in the hot summer because I was losing to my best friend. For the last most recent time before this one we went to Knott’s Berry Farm. This trip was so much fun and very wet.When I was riding Perilous Plunge & Bigfoot Rapids I got as wet as a fish swimming in the ocean. These trips are so fun because you are gone from home for about 18 hours with your friends.

What is surprising is every time my beautiful mom goes on these trips she is not my boring/ baby sit chaperone who takes me every where. And every time my mom goes with one of my very obnoxious older and younger brothers. I can’t wait to go on one of these awesome trips to amusement parks to ride rides that makes air blow threw your hair and also to taste their mouth watering hamburgers and fried chicken.
